St. Paul School's Facelift
It proved to be very busy around our school the past two summers. First, during the summer of 2009, the original windows and doors, which were installed in 1962 were replaced with new energy-efficient windows and doors. In addition to the aesthetic value, we expect a reduction in our utility expenses.
Our technology received a much-needed shot in the arm with the computer lab revonation; new computers and installation of wiring for Internet access in all classrooms; and SmartBoards for several classrooms.
Work continues on updating our restroom facilities with the installation of new paper towel and soap dispensers and the beginning installation of touchless water faucets, commodes and urinals. This work will contune as funds permit.
Even our cafeteria has taken on a new look with round tables and three shades of green chairs -- students are enjoying the new setup.
None of these much-needed improvements would be possible without the time, talents, and treasures of our many benefactors and grants from the Wheeling-Charleston Diocese and the State of West Viriginia. Thank you all very much!
