Year of St. Paul Task Force

Pope Benedict XVI has designated June 28, 2008 to June 29, 2009 as a Year of St. Paul to celebrate the 2000th anniversary of his birth and to reflect on his influence on the church.

St. Paul Parish, Weirton, is the only parish in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston named after St. Paul. We have assembled a team of parishioners and staff to plan a celebration of our patron that will “help us become a more energized and outward looking parish.”

A Task Force has been established to help the parish celebrate the Year of St. Paul and achieve this goal in the Parish Pastoral Plan.
