St. Paul Church provides numerous opportunities for those of the faith and those seeking their faith to become involved in the ministries of the Catholic Church. St. Paul Youth Group "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12 Liturgical Music Ministry The St. Paul Choir participates in the liturgy of the 11:00 AM Mass and at all special liturgies by leading the congregation in song. They are always interested in receiving new members who have a special love of the role that music plays in our faith. Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharistic Our Eucharistic Ministry consists of a group of men and women who assist the priests and deacon in the distribution of Holy Communion at Sunday Masses and certain scheduled weekday Masses. Each Sunday , Eucharistic Ministers leave the church after receiving communion to bring the Holy Eucharist to our homebound parishioners. The Extraordinary Ministers also visit the neighborhood nursing facilities during the week. There they conduct a prayer service and distribute Holy Communion to our brothers and sisters bringing them spiritual comfort. MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) MOPS is a Christian organization that believes mothers are important. Mothering matters, and moms need help. If you are a mother of young children, you need encouragement, practical tips for surviving the preschool years, friends, and nurturing. This is a great place to start. Lectors Lectors are those who help the parish worship through the Ministry of the Word. By proclaiming the readings at Mass, the lectors help make the Word of God present and active for all who hear it. By offering the parish an opportunity to experience the presence of the Lord in the Scriptures, lectors assist others in being formed by that Word.
